ResponsibilitiesWater: The Authority maintains the water mains and service lines up to and including the meter. If trouble occurs between the meter and the house, it becomes the homeowner’s responsibility. Sewer: The Authority maintains the major collection lines. Click here for Senior Citizen Application Click here for Rate Comparison Disconnect (Cut-Off) Fees for Non-PaymentAll payments are due upon receipt. If the balance is not paid in full by the close of business, as indicated on the monthly billing statement, a ten percent penalty will be charged to the account and a late notice will be sent to the customer. If the balance is not paid by the close of business on the date indicated on the late notice, a $75.00 "non-payment" fee will be charged to the account and services will be subject for disconnection. If a disconnection for non-payment occurs, and the customer requests service to be restored "after hours" an additional fee of $50.00 will be added to the account. Returned Checks There is a $25.00 fee in addition to the amount of the returned check. We only accept cash or money order for a returned check. After two checks are returned for insufficient funds within a 6 month period, accounts are placed on a "Cash Basis Only" status for the next 12 months. |
